Paul:
Originally I thought my magazine may have been worn, or better yet, the little part that holds the magazine in the Luger may have been worn, but this doesn't seem to be the case. My 1917 DWM does experience this to a greater extent than my 1941 byf. The byf is a Norwegian capture pistol that was never used in combat (or used very lightly), so its parts shouldn't be worn at all. I've never experienced hold open problems because of this little "problem", but it only makes common sense that a sloppy fit magazine could cause this problem. Sieger |
