Smile Made My Day!

While visiting other friends in El Paso, Ed and Terry Tinker graciously took the time to stop by our house. Ed brought along a couple of great Lugers for me to admire. Really nice folks and Sarah and I thoroughly enjoyed their visit.

Ron, Did you check the silver after Ed left?

Yes...I'm short two spoons, a salad fork and a couple of fillings from my teeth. Actually, Ed would be more likely to leave something rather than take. A very generous and honorable fellow. I really appreciate the folks that I have met through the Forum, you included

Ron, You are dead on about Mr Tinker. He is one of the nicest most stand up guys I have ever met.

As far as I'm concerned, after having the great pleasure of meeting you in Reno. I would say that you rank up there with him. You are a very impressive gentleman. I'm glad that I got to meet you.

Other Ron

I graciously second Ron's remarks, both with respect to Ed and especially Ron.

Well, i am back at home, was a long drive, around 700 miles one way and back 48 hours later.

We had a great visit with our friends, and were very glad that we "fitted" in 2 hours with Ron and Sarah. Ron has a collection to die for (oops, not my place to say that ) Ron just said, grab whatever you want and take a look. Of course he did the mentoring bit and also said

It was very fun and educational! Both great folks, Sarah and of course Ron.
