Thanks for the info. Just got back from a trip. The mag is plastic bottomed. It looks extruded. It has an aluminum follower. --- The gun is a highly polished (reblued, mixed) byf 41 w/chocolate brown wooden grips. The frame is 8773-y but the upper is 8866 (w/no letter on the left side of the forward receiver just back of the barrel). This is the only P.08 I have so I don't know if the serial number block letter would be stamped on the frame only or on other parts too. I am more familiar with P.38s and they have the serial letter stamped on several parts of the gun. Again, thanks for the info.
