1917 Chamber Dated...???

What do you Navy folks think...not sure if a Navy shoud have the "1917" on the chamber...?

Hey Dwight,

Sorry about my recent brain fart...you are correct...

Do you see the small "1917" along side the receiver rail and the front sight base (both on the left side...) ?

Photo quality is too poor, can't even make out the c/M inspection marks.
