This holster don't look right. Does it?
In my years of collecting I did not really pay much attention to holsters. Saw this one and it just looks wrong. I guess the stitching looks ok, but the P08 marking is too small. Looks like a Forum member is also bidding. Am I wrong? Is this a good holster?

Doug, From the two pictures that are on eBay it looks good to me. I couldn't be 100% certain without more photo's but it has all the charecteristics of an original so far. The small P08 does not bother me. I have seen it before.
Ask the seller for more photo's if you are interested and look it over very closely for detail. Jerry Burney

Doug,
* If you are interested in bidding, please get confirmation of the WaA acceptance #. The seller either is having trouble reading this code (W8A120) or the code number is bogus. * Per J. Walters. The Luger Book, Pg. 134, a "bcb'41" holster would have been made by Otto Graf. A WaA170 marking is the correct Waffen acceptance (1940-1942) mark. * Either one very crispy original holster or a very recent repop with markings this deep and clear. It should not be a stretch to accurately read this number. * Thought you'd like to know. Respectfully, Bob |
