Default Fellow Luger collectors BEWARE!

Was perusing the Luger's for sale on Gunbroker. As some may know I am in the hunt for a holster for my Portuguese GNR. I found one from an Ian Campbell Kempner Texas. When I looked at it I recognized that it was the same one that a certain seller of Lugers and accessories from Copperas Cove Tx. I know that it is, because I saved his pic from the last auction in September of 2004. Tell me if you think they are the same?

Hi Doug,

If you switch to the P-38 Forum. do a search for "Ian Campbell". There was a very informatvie discussion, there, started by Orv and I contributed some info as well from emails I traded with "Ian"...

After you read the thread, you can decide...

Regards,

Pete...

Ed, I think that if you compare the pic that I posted to the auction you will see that they are identical! I have no doubt in my mind that it is him.

I e-mailed gunbroker that Ian Campbell and dkf were the same. I gave them examples of his photos to prove it. That was about three weeks ago. I got an e-mail about a week later saying they had turned it over to the fraud department. But as you can see they've done nothing.

Just like e-bay, they don't care about theses things. Unless it hurts their profits, they don't care.

This guy has been around for awhile. He's had several different names on GB over the last 4 or 5 years. His pictures are always poorly lighted and his products are always suspect.

The Luger collecting community needs a few aggressive, mean-spirited lawyers.

I agree Luke and I am amazed a couple of these "dealers" haven't been slapped with a law-suit or two?
