Default Threads!

Marvin! Upon closer examination, your theory seems to be very plausable as to why the holes are threaded.....when looking at them with a magnifying glass you can make out two details that would lead one to believe that they are cast in the grip! 1) the hole is flat bottomed with no visible sign of a bottoming tap ever touching the bottom, as you can see the virgin untouched plastic as it was cast! 2) The very bottom lead in thread, shows flow where it starts on the bottom flat and turns up......I looked at two sets of original grips, so four holes altogether....they all showed the same thread start. The rest of the continuing threads were mostly complete, with varying degrees of roughness.....Pretty neat! till...later....G.T.
