Default Here in Austin, TX w/ Bob :)

Well, I am sitting in Austin, Texas, looked really pretty flying in, the ground is fine, construction around where I am staying near the airport. Bob Tracy came and picked me up, took me to his nice house and met his lovely wife. We looked at a few of his guns and went to a Texas Roadhouse BBQ (my request)

Overall a wonderful evening!

Thanks Bob! Will see you Tuesday for the gun club meeting. Which reminds me, last Thursday, I went to the gun club with Glen from Denver area, and we showed and telled (I was a guest) and had a good time too! Glen has a 1913 Colt 1911 that is really sweet!

So, this last week, I have met and re-met (met Bob 3 years ago at the Luger Fest in Phoenix) two members of the forum!!

Life is good.

Last night at the gun club, was a show and tell, all sorts of guns were brought. A old colt SA 1st Gen or two, five Smiths, all pre 1900, 4 HSC's (a friend of Bobs), Bobs nice Sauer, rare P38, mint PPK, a sniper Enfield that came in a box.... Jeeez, just great, plus a book signing of a WW2 tin-can writer who talked for a bit too long, but a heck of a story!
