Dave, I've seen many WW1 military PO8s and LPO8 that were imported into the US (Germany marked or "Made in Germany" after 1922) that still had their original chamber date and orig matching 9mm barrel. I believe that the Versailes Tready restiction, only applied to new production or factory reworked lugers and not to the export of WW1 military surplus. Even on the new ones, the importers at the time, Stoeger & Pacific Arms, would change the barrels to 9mm in lenghts up to 22 inches, for an addition charge. TH
