At the least a Charter Arms Bulldog. For close in like this a revolver is nice to have, and I am an auto guy, but a revolver will usually work. A S&W 45 ACP is okay, but I'd go with a 44 Magnum, but might be smarter to use some of that pepper spray, spray it into your eyes and you don't have to watch the bear eat your legs!
