Hatcher's book "Pistols and Revolvers", published in 1927, shows the cartridge firing a 110 grain bullet at 1100 FPS and having 300 FtLbs of energy. It's not quite up to Parabellum strength. It hasn't been loaded in the US in many years I don't believe.
