I recently bought a Luger and an old Melior, they where both coated with grease on the outside, barrel and inside was "clean" and with some corrosion. My first tought was that the Luger was in exelent condition, but inside the barrel there where hardly any riflings at all! Same with the Melior..
The owner had no papers for them, so instead of turning them in to the police, he sold them to me.

(During september owners of unregistred firearms had the chance to deliver them to the police with "no questions asked". Thousands of Lugers and other old goodies are now about to be melted for destruction <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" /> I wish they only let the Lugers and old shotguns etc live on..)

I tought they where used a lot.. but it might be just corrosion that has damaged them. Thanks Ron Smith
