I was in error about MÃ?Â¼lheim being in Hesse, it is actually in Westphalia, which is between Hesse and the borders of Belgium and the Netherlands. With the languages of Belgium being Flemish and French, Guilleaum could have been an immigrant from that country. There very probably is more than one MÃ?Â¼lheim in Germany, but the major city is on the Ruhr (MÃ?Â¼lheim an der Ruhr), which feeds into the Rhein from the East.
