Thanks to all of you who have admired and commented. Ted thanks for showing off the most difficult Baby I have ever made.

I learn a little every time I make a holster from scratch...Maybe someday I will figure out how to make one in less than a week.

Thanks again, Jerry Burney

Ron, Jerry made that one for me and I spec'ed BUCKSKIN, cause I wanted it to look different. Here is what the Luger looked like with the holster in the terrific case Les Center (DOK) made for me.
Jerry does a terrific job! He quite a time with mine. I had Les make the case big enough to house the holster too. The McGrevin holster is superb!

Hello Jerry,

You excel in what you do way beyond the capabilities of most people. Your love for what you do is expressed by your beautiful workmanship. I envy you because I always wanted to work in leather but was never inspired or able to do it. It is good we have someone with your ability to build and restore these pieces of history. I just had to make a comment since I continue to see and admire your talented handwork.

Best Wishes,

Toggle Top, Thanks, I appreciate your thoughts. I think the passion to make these things is in the creation. Starting with raw materials and ending up with something usefull and pleasing to look at. There is a sense of satisfaction. It's not all roses...plenty of disapointment, hard work and frustration.
If you want to do something you must develop a burning desire to create it. I wake up every day with the idea I am going to make something worthwhile.
If you have an interest, tickle it a little...Try it out and see if you have the skills little by little to end up with something you are happy with. Small steps will help. If I can help in any way let me know...Jerry Burney

Jerry, Dok is alive and well! I have been emailing him very recently about a second case, one for my K date you liked so much. I cant take credit for the layout, I told Dok what I wanted and he did the layouts and kept sending me interations until we were both happy with it. I really love Dok's Luger display cases, as you can see he really can build a CUSTOM case. Center Custom Cases CLICK HERE
