Default Dok have you looked at sixgunners chatmodule

On Sixgunner.com there is a pretty simple and nice chatmodule that maybe could be of interest to Lugerforum to.

Please take a look and think about it.

Thank you for the link to the chat room. We considered adding a chat facility to the Luger Forum at the outset, but decided against it for primarily two reasons:

1) Members would hang out there and chat, and postings would not get made to the Forum

2) Great threads would be lost because members would discuss those items in the chat room.

Members who need to chat with one another generally use AOL's Instant Messenger program which is available as free download and provides the chat facility. Many of us are active on that. If you need further info on this please contact me.

I understand your standpoint and partly agree with it at the same time as chatting is fun.

But using AOL instant messenger is maybe not the correct thing to do as AOL is one of the most antigun directed companys in America.

ISent here anyone using ICQ?

ICQ is really neat and the ICQ number could be on each persson's presentation side.

My icq is 11318683 by the way

Actually the speed of the forum is so quick it almost is "chatting" Sometimes on other forums, I wait a week to see one message!

I fully agree but have you ever tried ICQ?

That is like speaking in the same room, and you can actually see if the other have his computer on.

AOL Instant messager does the same thing! I can tell when Marvin, Dok, etc is logging on and get in a quick chat! I do think Dok has a valid point and I support his views on this one! Thor

AIM is identical to ICQ. I have ICQ but seldom use it these days.

I fail signing on all the time.

It says my screenname or password is not correct.

Hugh Clark had this problem, maybe he can shed a little light on the solution. Maybe the characters, or length of email address or the email address extension, the telia.com MIGHT be throughing it off! Dok or Dunkle may know, I am a computer idiot! Thor
