Tom,
It is really scarry. Under the Maglite there is no more rust blue; it turns rust red... You can see the micro pits and in case of old refinishing (a nice 1906 Swiss commercial #353xx with old (maybe arsenal)reblue )you can see where the original blue was... Really amazing !
