Danny,

The lower milled mark and upper Gesichert stamp means that it is a first-issue altered. Any photographs?

I'm interested in your American Eagles. I'm working on a database of their characteristics, and would like to be able to include yours. I'm recording what model (1900? 1902? 1906?), serial#, calibre, whether or not they have proof marks, presence of a small Swiss cross on the left side of the barrel, position of the serial lnumber on the takedown lever, variation of thumb safety lever (raised checkered or raised fluted), and whether the grip safety lever is narrow or wide. Appreciate your input vey much.
