I have a DWM 1920 commercial .30 cal shooter.
The magazine appears to be nickel plated with an aluminum base, no markings on the base. When were these nickel/aluminum mags manufactured and for what type of Lugers? Since there are no markings, can I assume this is not original? Iâ??ve had a couple of feed failures and I think is due to some crud inside that is inhibiting the spring. I can shoot some gun scrubber in there but Iâ??d rather disassemble it. How do I do this? Looks like one pin just behind the circular part of the base, but not obvious which way to drift this out. If the base is removed, how is the follower removed? What do you think of Meggar mags? Thought if they work I would use this for general shooting. TIA -- Dan |
