Thanks for the response! I am definitely addicted now and will change the scope of my collecting. I do see Lugers around occasionally, but most are mismatched and in rough condition, still around the $600 plus range (Canadian $). Other than Marstar and CSMilitary I seldom see others for sale in Canada. The interest is high but demand is lower due to the prohibited classification I suppose. It is sad that no more will be imported here, but I think several every year do turn up as vet bringbacks. As long as the owners register them and obtain the 12:7 clause (I believe), these can be legally bought by those with 12:6 status after. So all is not lost totally, and prices do seem to be less here than in the US. Pleasee correct me if I am wrong here, I am basing this on my extremely limited knowledge of the Luger collecting field (had exclusively collected p38s before). Take care and thanks again!
