Yes, it is an older book, same with Jone's book. I wouldn't be without them, because they are good books, but they are about 40 years old, so many mistakes have been unearthed during that time period.

I have both, plus many others, the best ones are by Jan Still, they are well researched and encompass many era's. You might want to buy one at a time, or all, Weimar Lugers is out of print and is my favorite, another out of print is called Imperial Lugers. Third Reich Lugers and Axis Pistols were recently reprinted so are available.

While another classic is Lugers at Random, and has many good pictures. Other authors include Walters, Reed and a couple of more. They all have interesting facts and stories.

So it depends on what you want to learn and what era.
