Hello Ken,
The Mauser Parabellum(s) produced for European market have the German words GESICHERT and GELADEN. The models made for the exportation in USA have the words SAFE and LOADED. This is the theory, but can happen that models originally foreseen for the European market were exported in USA. This justifies the fact that you have the pistol in â??Europeanâ? configuration. For the price, I suggest to you to have a look at the Simpson web site where you can find several Mauser Parabellum for sale. In my web site I have a section dedicated to the Mauser Parabellum; you can have a look to see other models. Ciao Mauro
