As far as I know, Stoeger owns the name Luger in this country as far as guns go. The one that I have is officially called an "American Eagle" and is so stamped on the gun. The parts list is labeled "P-08 American Eagle". So I supose the name is American Eagle. I will let everyone know when my new one arrives.

The grip safety wraps around the entire frame rather than one side as on the 1906 that I have.
