I've always found the contour of the lug-less grip more appealing than a grip with the stock lug. Somehow, the lump that would be a lug if finished spoils the looks of the grip... to me. But, I also see your point and it was only me expressing what I would personally find more attractive. One man likes blondes while another likes redheads........
