John,

Agree with Ron on the book. All lugers shown/photographed are museum-quality pieces.

There is also an invaluable section that compares, in detail, various parts on DWM and Bern lugers as the models changed. This is as good as a similar section in R. Gibson's book, The Krieghoff Parabellum. This book actually teaches you what to expect and look for in the various models with side-by-side close-up detailed photos.

Unlike that "Navy Luger" book which discussed everthing except what various Navy variations should look like.

I will go even further in my recommendation :

Buy the book. If you do not think it valuable, I will buy it from you at your costs...
