here I decided to show more pics about the straps on the first variaton seen above and my 2nd variaton 06/24

2nd Variation 06/24, not as nice as the one before but a different design on the strap.

The straps are really urgent to get the Luger out of that Swiss holsters !!!

just a thorie : those straps in your and my 06/24 are probably designed as a lanyard to:
I can slip into that strap not easily but the orig. owner have had probably much smaller hands so it could work as a lanyard?

Picture is showing the blank space - so it indikates the Gun is in unsafe position!
