I wanted too, he wants too turn it into a 22mag but I do not believe the barrel twist will handle the mag velocity...he bough out several hundred dollars of reloading goods, then as he turned too walk away, in a large umbrella stand, hidden away was butt stock up this rifle...it may well be put up for sale if this not meet his needs and can not be converted too a 22mag
