Post Artillery Stock Specs

Does anyone have the specifications for an Artillery stock? Drawings with details would be nice.

Daubs, To what end? Wood, Metal? I believe there may be some in Bender's Luger Holsters and Accesories. Depending on what you need I may be able to do some measurements for you. Jerry Burney

Jerry, I just received a repro stock iron in the mail today. It seems to be nicely done and well made. I paid $20 for it. I need the specs for the wood as I understand that a repro stock must closely appoximate an original in order to meet BATF requirements. I'd buy just the wood part if I could find one already made but making one is another option. I'd want the specs for an Artillery stock. Any help would be appreciated.

I offer refinishing on these if you want strawed and rust blued finish on them.

This one is well done with strawed thumb piece and what appears to be a rust blue finish. From the collected dust, I'd say it's been around a few years. The seller says he'd had it a while.

Hello Walker,

There is a nice right-side only dimensioned drawing in E. Bender's large book.

If you do not have this book, let me know and I can e-mail you a high resolution scan of the page. The dimensions on the drawing are in metrics...

Send me your e-mail address to "pebbink@pacbell.net"...

Regards,

Pete...

Doubs,

I have a very readable detailed blueprint of the Artillery stock that will be included on the Luger Blueprint CD I am preparing... please contact me by PM with your email address for additional information.

Pete & John, thanks to both of you for the offers. Lugerdoc has offered a repro stock without iron and I've decided to purchase it from him. Considering my woodworking skills, he probably just saved a tree from a disasterous end.

I'd still like the information though and my e-mail is: doubs43@cox.net. I'm on cable modem so large files are not a problem.

Thanks again.

Doubs,

May I ask where you got the stock iron for $20?
