I just yesterday installed a new take-down lever spring in my old DWM, the one in it looked ok, but the lever was real easy to move. the new spring fixed it right up, nice and crisp. I've read on the forum, and logic demands that if your lever flips in midshot; your cannon will launch into the tall grass. I don't know if it could happen, but I ain't going to find out.
