Default Found an unproofed .30 Luger for auction

Seller claims it might be experimental because it only has a serial number at the end of the breech. No other number marks or proofs in the photos.

anyone venture a guess on the type/model?

Is this a DWM/MAuser SNEEK? is the serial suffix r,s,t etc?

Wasn't this the pistol that showed up a while back on one of the auctions and the owner would not give any information on it? Those look like proofs on the left side of the receiver, but can't see them well enough to tell what they are. The pistol is a long frame Model 1906 which appears to have had the barrel changed.

Hi Folks,

Based on what I *think* I can see in the photos, I'd guess it to be one of the 1906 Commercial variations. Serial number appears to be in the 27,000 range, what looks like C/N proofs visible on barrel and barrel extension, DWM on toggle, and what looks like "GERMANY" on barrel extension above take down lever.

Just my guess, offered entirely FWIW...

Best regards,

Kyrie
