Post Worst Movie with Luger...

The movie isn't necessarily bad, but I sure did cringe, watching one scene featuring a Luger. The movie, is the James Bond "For Your Eyes Only", and near the end one of the bad guys uses a Luger as a hammer. Oh the humanities!!! It is near the end of the rock climbing sequence...

I wouldn't worry. It was surely a dummy, as no prop department is going to allow a valuable gun to be damaged. (Just FYI, almost all the rifles in "Saving Private Ryan" and "Band of Brothers" were plastic dummies.)

Actually RW, Mr Roger Moore was 007 in that one but in my eyes SC will always be 007!

Thumbs down

Thor, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
The thing that scares me is that unless the Luger is empty, he could be in big trouble.
Loaded, with safety off and finger on the trigger.
To say nothing of the fact that the sear could be jarred free as he hammers. <img border="0" alt="[nono]" title="" src="graemlins/nono.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />
I wonder what it would feel like if that luger fired? <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

I dont know, but a bad guy was holding the Luger at the time, it would have saved 007 a bullet.

As you can see in Thor's picture, the safety appears to be on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> This guy hammers on three of those, before he gets stopped...
