Arrow Prices starting to dip?? ...??

I've been following the Luger parts and accessiories on ebay and other auctions lately... actually for quite awhile.. and I have noticed a definite downturn in realized prices lately... mint stuff still has a lot of interest & activity...but few bidders.. and not much range.. I'm not saying that auctions are the best venue for procuring parts and such... but they definitly indicate how much loose capitol is available for our little hobby! Perhaps it is a small reflection of the economy in general, but at any rate, it is time to buy if you have the capibility to do so... clips and holsters on ebay are going for very reasonable prices... magazines that would have brought $60.00 plus are going for $30.00, and +$100.00 mag's are sometimes selling for $60.00 or $70.00 bucks!! I wonder if P.08 pistol sales are reflecting this trend also?? How do other members of the forum see it?? Best to all., til...lat'r....GT

GT, I think you are on-the-money as far as mags and other common stuff goes. It might take twelve months to bring the internet market back.
During Ebay's first couple of years it was like a licensed shooting preserve. In subsequent years some of us had to retreat to German Ebay, etcetera to do good work, now it is just a great fleamarket awash in all manner of sh!t. One must go through all sorts of contortions to score a real coup.
Still the glory and the fun is in the kill.

Hi George! I noticed that we both had some very nice items lately on ebay that barely made the reserve, or didn't have any bids at all... A year ago, there would have been a cat fight over these items!! The problem with me, is I'm always at the wrong end of the slide...selling when I should be buying and buying when I should be selling?? Well I'm only in my early 50's...I still have some time to learn! best to you, til...lat'r...GT

GT. I think the seven inch artillery went nicely.

I have to remember that Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas through New Years Day, and Memorial Day are all Ebay shopping days not selling days. I am going to relist a bunch of stuff today. Let's see if they go any higher.Geo

I think it is just a minor (temporary) demand slump... not a value reduction...

Wait a couple of weeks and try again...

Just my $0.02

Hi George! And John! The 7" art. holster went over to Moscow Russia! And, I feel I did pretty good on it... But, I'm pretty amazed that Luger mag's are relatively inexpensive right now... you can buy an original 06/29, shooter variety, Swiss mag for a pretty reasonable price... Mint BW mags, and minty WW1 wood bottom mags are still a bit pricy though... best to all, til...lat'r....GT
