Oh Tom, I had the ocassion to depend on this .45 to save my butt on July 13, 1967 in a rice paddy near the Go Cong River. In a gunfight that lasted under 4 seconds I got one shot stops on 3 small gentlemen wearing black pajamas. God bless the .45 ACP. I told my wife of many, many years to never put me in the position of having to choose between her and this Colt.......

This Colt has not been fired from that day to this.....

There is an old proverb that goes like this.

"THERE IS NO SECOND PLACE WINNER IN A GUNFIGHT".
