Arrow MAX Show this month

All,

My unindicted co-conspirator and co-moderator of the Navy page will have a table at MAX again this year, for the third year in a row.

Am planning to bring loads of Non-Navy luger stuff and a couple of Navy things for which I have duplicates-like a K-Date Navy Holster!

In any event, I hope any forum members in attendance drop by and say howdy. Derek and I will be staying at the Raddison so if you are there, perhaps we can have a cocktail after the show closes. In the meanwhile, I have a list of non-navy pistols that I am going to offer to the Forum membership first and then to general public. List will be in the FS page. Pls do not email for pics unless you are very serious as I am extremely busy this time of year and will be out of town most of the time.

Thanks,

Tom A.

Hi Tom,

You might want to give a few more details about the MAX show for the newbies who never heard of it... like where, when and such!

The last time I looked there was more than one Raddison hotel...

and I don't think our membership wants to approach each of their desk clerks and ask which room the guys with guns are staying in... considering the events of recent history.

MAX SHOW Details...(Military Antiques Extravaganza)

It is held at the ExpoMart in Monroeville, PA, about 15 minutes from Pittsburgh. The ExpoMart adjoins the Raddisson Hotel. Derek and I typically have a table against the left rear wall of the main exhibition hall. There will be more historic and documented pieces and general neat stuff there than one can normally take in during a single afternoon. There are typically 2000 plus vendors selling everything from authenticated Fieldmarschalls batons to civil war-era tin-types. I have had spectacular luck with "walk-in" pieces at this show such as the minty 06 Navy with matching and property numbered mags in an exc plus holster..

A highly recommended show with lots of friendly people and a few weasels, but they are everywhere, aren't they?

Man, after reading my last post I am convinced this forum needs a spell check capability!

I went in and corrected them this time amigo, but next time just use the pencil and paper (edit) icon to go in an correct your spelling mistakes in the original post... that is a lot less embarrassing than calling attention to them with a second post
