Hi,
I was re-reading Elmer Keiths excellent 1961 republished version of 'Sixguns' and stumbled across a quote on page 326 I thought was interesting enough to share here: "One notable development has been the converting of the Luger to .45 auto caliber by Kent Wyatt, (address removed, GVV), Idaho. This has resulted in some very accurate target guns." --Keith, Sixguns, 1961. Since I never heard of this Wyatt conversion (must've been between 1955 and 1961), I wonder if anyone has? --Did some researching and found a gun described as a 'Wyatt-Imthurn' .45 luger for sale (in Google cache, not on that site anymore) and Gerard Henrotin mentioned it in his books. Any pictures/specs of these 'Wyatts'? |
