The new Sean Connery movie that is just out ("The League of Extraordinary Gentleman") has one luger pistol in a scene.

It looks like a 6" Navy that the Dorian Gray character uses to shoot the 1st. mate that serves on Capt. Nemo's vessel...

If you blink, you will miss seeing the luger. I am not sure, but it might have been gold-plated, as well...

Movie was quite off-the-mark historically. It is set in 1899, but you have WWI type tanks, guys in uniforms that look like SS or Nazi, and many grease-gun type machine guns...

Whoever was the technical advisor probably got paid well, but needs some history lessons...
