Ok, does any of the old timers remember the old, old board? In particular the guy who was threatening to run over his drum mag if we did not buy it?
![]() Just wondering if anyone here ever got it or if it was destroyed? Or if it ever existed at all? I remember some heated posts by all!

This guy said he owned it and said the state he was living in passed a law making it illegal to own and he decided to destroy it if he didnt get big $$ for it. He also ignored all sugguestions to sell in on consignment with dealers. It was entertaining and I always wondered if there really was a snail drum mag. Seems like he said he was going to publish a picture of a flattened magazine that he ran over with a tractor. I never believed it.

Okay... Guilty... I admit it...I am one of the old, old timers...
His name was Bill McDonough wasn't it Thor? or something very close to that... and if I remember correctly he was located in New Jersey. He claimed he was liquidating a collection that belonged to a deceased relative that was a gunsmith... Can't say that I have heard anything about him since then...

I remember that episode very clearly; it was right out of Blazing Saddles famous Cleavon Little's routine...

Ohhh, Billy.
yes, interesting guy, sounded not very bright, high prices on some Luger parts, but I think he changed his mind when offered a reasonable amount of money. Still have pictures of the items he was selling on my PC. Ed
