Post Deactivated P-38 for sale on eBay

Hi All,
I happened to notice this auction for a dewat
P-38 on eBay.
Seller lives in Great Britain.
Does anybody know what the deal is with their laws regarding firearms?
I posted this same message on the P-38 Forum and it was suggested that someone over here from the UK might be able to answer my questions
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, If you check the Members Gallery on Page 11 you will see a photo study of a Luger owned by forum member Terry Foley (Tacfoley) and the pictures will tell you just how serious and permanent the UK deactivation process is... it isn't reversible!

You could own a REAL LIVE P.38 for what it would cost you to acquire and import the P.38 you have located on auction and have money left over for accessories...

Thanks for directing me to the series of photo's on Pg. 11 in the Members Gallery.
Definitely shows you that "A picture is worth a thousand words".
Very, very sad.
I guess they take their gun control very seriously in the U.K.
Best regards,
Mike
