I know I can speak for the majority of the membership when I thank all contributors for attempting to keep this intellectual discussion from getting "out of hand"...
Opinions are like errr...Elbows... everyone has some and everyone has their own experiences to contribute... If there is a disagreement... at least we can agree to disagree... there has been much theory AND factual information presented here that has been both interesting and educational for those who have no background in mechanical engineering... If this discussion is to continue, I would repectfully request that any followup comments from this point on... address those three issues that have been isolated by the original author of this message thread as the crux of the discussion. Thank you one and all.
