Got the ivories at a gun show for, judging by Ron's info, an embarressingly low price (ivory mag bottom came later, courtesy of my friend Russ Withem). The grip ivory is harder than blazes. I have no qualms about shooting the gun (the grips sure do feel nice) without worry about cracking them--its not my primary shooter, but I like to have it on the shooting bench to see what kind of glances it gets from other shooters walking by (not much pride of ownership here, no sirree!! )I don't think I'd shoot Ron's dragon grips, though... --Dwight |
