Got the ivories at a gun show for, judging by Ron's info, an embarressingly low price (ivory mag bottom came later, courtesy of my friend Russ Withem). The grip ivory is harder than blazes. I have no qualms about shooting the gun (the grips sure do feel nice) without worry about cracking them--its not my primary shooter, but I like to have it on the shooting bench to see what kind of glances it gets from other shooters walking by (not much pride of ownership here, no sirree!! ![]() I don't think I'd shoot Ron's dragon grips, though... --Dwight |
