Hello Albert,

I am a 47 year old that just started with lugers 6 months ago.

I decided my acquisition plan would entail 2-3 lugers from each luger era (i.e. Imperial, Weimar, 3rd. Reich, and Post WWII...).

Sort of like a chinese restaurant menu,...one from each column !!! This forces me to read and learn all I can about all the eras.

I decided this would give me a nice "starter collection" and let me build up from there. Within this starter collection, I seem to like Swiss Bern models...having a 1924 Bern and a 1929 Bern.

I tend to like lugers with grip safeties and those lovely 4-3/4" bbls., but have a couple of P-08's as well.
