Repro black widow grips
I recently obtained a pair of repro grips for a 1920 shooter I have. Got them through Brownells, and are listed under the Vintage Industries reproduction handgun grip section. Sold as a byf 41 grip, they are well made and have exceptional fit. If you have an account with Brownells they are $22.04. I prefer wood grips, but these are nice for a shooter.

Could you possibly post photos of these grips since Brownell does not have a photo on the online catalog?
Thanks,

John,
let me borrow a digital camera and I will ASAP. Just for information they also have Mec-Gar mags for 22.90. Really do not know if thats a good deal or not. I also found a Wolff Spring kit for 6.60. |

It is a reasonable deal for the mags... they sell for about that on ebay all the time.
You can also get a good image of the grips using a flatbed scanner if you have one.

When you get access to the camera again, how about a couple of closeups of the fit arount the base/grips screw area in a little better light... the fit of these grips everywhere else seems to be very good, but the images of the area I have requested are bit too dark to see... in this light they look a little short.
I can't wait to see the insides... thanks for the photos.

Here is a shot of the backside, and of the fit around the grip screw area.
They are not to bad for the money, and feel great in the hand. [Click on the â??thumbnailsâ?? to see these photos full size â?? IF these grips are random samples of the quality provided by Brownell's... these are indeed fine reproductions (although I doubt they would be taken as original by a knowledgeable Luger enthusiast) and a good value at that price... and would be great on a shooter to protect the original grips...
