Post Police muzzle cover question!

Hello, had the chance to purchase a few muzzle covers, the question now is if original ore not?
Books are saying that tis part is beeing in use for the Police in the 30ies while cleaning the barrel with a rod ore a chain to protect the bore. Does anybody own the same one ?

Regards

Roland,
if you look at page 300-301 of Bender's book. You can see the cleaning rods that were used with your muzzle cover.
It seems original.
Ciao

Mauro, unfortunatdly I don´t have much books, just the one from Joachim G¶rz. I thought that a accaptance stamp for the Police should also show up a letter L ore C etc.

A friend of mine has the same muzzle cover with cleaning rod. I will ask him concerning the stamps.
