Loading tools have a small "lip" on the inside of the hole. This lip slides under the magazine button. Some of these lips are sharp and thin and work well; others are thick and don't work with most magazines. I use the Mec-Gar magazines with my Luger shooters, and I load them with the lower-cost loading tools from Sarco. I believe that Tom Heller carries these also. Actually, Sarco did sell two types at one time. The more expensive of the two had what appeared to be a small eagle in a triangle on the front. This more expensive model had a thicker lip and did not work with my Mec-Gar mags, while the less expensive type ($6.85 the last time I ordered) has a thin, sharp lip and always works. Regards, Luke
