I follow the same practice that you describe. I cut and paste the picture into a MS Word file that fully describes all the details of the purchase . . . . . mainly because I sometimes forget something if I don't write it down. When I encounter protected photographs of an item which is for sale I use a utility called "HyperSnap DX5" which allows a capture of the screen image or any part thereof. There are other methods, but this one works just fine for me. While I try to observe copyright law, protecting pictures of items for sale is an unreasonable extension of such rights IMHO. Luke
