The gun looks much better than my $400.00 special and it doesn't look like any pitting on the finish. My Artillery has some pitting under the blue and someone replaced the toggle with a commercial Mauser so it had a rear sight. When they replaced the barrel, they used a cheap aftermarket one, not an artillery Hey, wadda expect for the money??

However, I think some people get caught up in auctions... like gambling.... and don't know when to quit. Figure out your max bid on the gun and don't go any higher.
