Yep! Thats the mark that I have on the metal of my stock. Thanks for the clarification.

Personally, I don't consider stocks that don't have inspectors stamps on them. But John Walter in his book "The Luger Book" says that that isn't always true. Also, he said that sometimes the serial number was stamped on the wood.

I have seen two stocks with counterfeit proof marks on the wood on the internet recently. One was a holster rig and the other was just the stock. I happened to buy a Trommel magazine off of the guy who bought the rig and he confirmed that the stock was fake. On the stock only one, the guy did not manage to sell the stock on the first try but later sold the serial numbered iron only. I THINK he got in the $175-200 area price for it. Since both stocks were sold by different people, I assume that there are at least two counterfeit stamps out there.
