A very nice haul indeed! I'm green with envy!

I was lucky enough to be part of a military deployment to NZ in 1976. We spent two weeks at Ohakea RNZAFB, not far from Palmerston North. We were the first US military unit to conduct exercises from a NZ base since the war if what we were told was correct. During our stay, an elderly gentleman was given a tour of our F-4 fighters. He was NZ's only living Ace from WW1 and he was treated like royalty.... as he should have.

What I saw of North Island was beautiful and I don't believe I've ever seen the Milky Way so clear and bright.
