Hey guys....I took that "son of a gun Luger" to the range today, along with a 1917 Artillery ,a ac 41 p38 and an early Browning Hi Power with Tangent rear sights.....that "Artistic" Erfurt shot really well and cycled properly and was probaly more accurate than myself.. (I drank two cups of Java just before shooting....not good!!)...the other Artillery also worked well as did the p38 and the Browning...I then had the bright idea of trying out a box of German made Ammo marked Geco?? ... written on the box was 'Fur Pistolen und Maschinenpistolen....This stuff was incredibly powerful!!!....I put one clip through the p38...and one through the Browning...That was enough!!! I am lucky the guns are still intact!!....I don't believe this stuff is too good to shoot in Pistols...????!!!!Very Hot ammo!!??
