Default AIMCO LUGER ARRIVES (PLUS)

My 6" 9mm AIMCO luger, in flat black Impreglon 218 finish, with beautifully strawed small parts, arrived today. This was the gun I ordered and sent back to the factory so that the strawed parts could be installed. AIMCO apparently felt bad about the extra waiting and sent me a wonderful wood case for the gun.

The gun looks so good that I hesitate to handle it. It has the american eagle on the barrel and small american eagles on the wood magazine base (the magazine is finished in matching black Impreglon). The strawed parts are stunning. I will be sending a picture as soon as I am able, if only a scanner picture at first.

As an update, AIMCO has changed their telephone number to:

(713) 661-9301. Fax is still (713) 661-5411.

Armas Intl. Mfg. Co. Inc (AIMCO)

5123 Gulfton

Houston, Texas 77081

Unless things have changed, they offer 9mm:

4" SS $695.00

6" SS $725.00

4" SS/Black $795.00

6" SS/Black $825.00

and:

4 3/4" 30 caliber, black, grip safety $995.00

Tell them Jim Foster sent you!

Jim,

Congratualations on getting your pistol back from AIMCO. This sounds like a great company who will take care of their mistakes and them send an extra surprise of the case. This, to me, shows a company that is concerned about their customers. We need more companies like this that show their thanks for buying thier product and when a mistake happens, they take extra good care of you. Let us know how the pistols shoots.

Default Definitely, If you have a scanner, you can post pictures of the gun.

It works really well, use color and about 100 to 150 dpi.

Can't wait to see it!

AIMCO made some commemrative Lugers for NAPCA to celebrate the 100 birthday of the Luger they had strawed parts and came in case and were also marked with special Serial Numbers ie,. # of 250 I have number 27 of 250. We were also given option of having National Automatic Pistol Colletors Association put on top of barrel. Makes for a stunning collectors item even if not original.
