Default Wierdo Deck plate

This side plate MIGHT be an armorers replacement, but the bluing is really matching to DWM type. Notice the raised area on the left side goes ALL the way to the top of the plate, most Sideplates have a flat spot at the lower surface to match the same surface of the right side. Seen this before?

Default Re:Swiss side plate

Ted, GT is partially correct. According to Fred Datig in his "The Swiss Variations 1897-1947"page 49, this new style side plate began appearing from 1928, on the Swiss m24 at about s/n 27021 forward. Please check inside of part for swiss cross or date markings. I was able to accumulate a box full of Swiss proofed parts by taking them off of the PO8s imported from Norway about 10 years ago. I guess in the late 1940s, that Bern was about the only source of new luger parts around.

Hi Thomas! Do you have much Swiss stuff left? I am looking for a trigger for a 29/06, and perhaps a sideplate......till...later....G.T.
